Mixed Media
Painting is an art form that blends colors, structure and form into a work of art.
In mixed media painting, different media are combined to create something unique.
Media is a broad term here:
Brush/pen/spatula strokes are combined with various backgrounds (collages using paper, structures, comics, natural materials, etc.) and colors (acrylic, oil, watercolor, charcoal, chalk, felt) to create a picture.
For me, mixed media painting is a wonderful form of individual storytelling.
I use the depth, breadth, intensity, the old with the new of different media and let them speak nonverbally.
Each picture contains so MUCH, because feelings are transformed into art.
Coffee art
Coffee not only has a wonderful aroma, it also has a stunning color.
As a part of everyday life, it contains most of the personal stories, is associated with pleasure and carries all of this on paper or canvas.
My technique is 80% watercolor and 20% mixed media—I use journaling techniques, collage, and more—depending on the story.

Since 2023, the Atelier arte manufactum together with Götz Maschinenbau (Ötigheim/Rastatt) have launched a series of events with a charitable character:
Regional artists have the opportunity to exhibit their works and invited guests can exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
In addition to the great side effects for the artists through the sold artworks, live painting with subsequent auction and new contacts, the proceeds are donated to a charitable organization (e.g. the support association of the oncology department of the Karlsruhe Children's Hospital www.fuokk.de).
