Painting is an art form that fuses colors, structure and form into a work of art.
In mixed media painting, different media are combined with each other and something unique is created.
Media is a broad term here:
Brush/pencil/spatula strokes are combined with various backgrounds (collages using papers, structures, comics, natural materials, etc.) and colors (acrylic, oil, watercolor, charcoal, chalk, felt) to create an image.
For me, mixed media painting is a wonderful form of individual storytelling.
I use the depth, breadth, intensity, the old with the new of different media and let them speak non-verbally.
Each picture contains so MUCH because feelings are transformed into art.
Not only does coffee have a wonderful aroma, it also has a stunning color.
As part of everyday life, it contains the most personal stories, is associated with enjoyment and carries all of this on paper or canvas.
My technique is 80% watercolor and 20% mixed media - including journaling techniques, collage and much more. for application - depending on the story.
Creating a work of art yourself and working on individual topics using art therapy methods - that's art coaching.
In this special form of painting course, I show basic painting techniques, journaling questions from art therapy (on topics such as gratitude, mindfulness, etc.) and easy-to-use methods on how to do this at home.
Individual courses can be booked online and on site.
